The following terms and conditions apply to all sales:
Furniture will only be delivered to addresses in Mainland Great Britain. Please call or email for a delivery price for Northern Ireland or Eire.
An adult must be present at the delivery address to check the unwrapped products and sign to acknowledge that products have been received in a satisfactory condition.
It is your responsibility to advise us at the time of ordering of any difficult delivery circumstances that may apply.
All of our furniture listings include dimensions - please measure all access doorways carefully to ensure we can deliver and place the item in your room as re-delivery, collection and cancellation fees apply.
We will contact you within seven days of placing your order to arrange a delivery date and time slot.
Where possible we will give you the choice of 3 different delivery dates and we will in addition, where possible, offer a 3 hour delivery slot.
A minimum re-delivery and collection charge, not less than the original delivery charge, will apply where i) the products will not fit into the intended space or through access routes at the delivery address, ii) no adult is available to accept delivery.
Cancellation fees of up to 25% of the value of products may also apply if the products are subsequently cancelled.
Any visible damage to the products or your property during delivery must be reported immediately. We will not accept liability for visible damage not reported within 24 hours of delivery.
The delivery crew cannot attempt delivery if damage to your home or a safety risk may result. No windows or doors will be removed by the crew in order to attempt delivery.
We are not liable for any delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the delivery address on the agreed delivery date or under any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Furnishings & Smaller Items Orders
It is your responsibility to provide a secure, adult attended delivery address.
We will endeavour to deliver within 7 days of receipt of cleared payment.
Multiple types of product may be delivered separately and by different carriers.
All fabrics are cut to order and are priced per linear meter. The width of each fabric is stated in the fabric description. Colours are shown as accurately as possible but the limitations of computer displays should be considered when matching colours. For this reason we recommend obtaining fabric sample swatches before purchasing your fabric lengths. All fabrics are supplied in a continuous length. In the rare case of any small imperfection in the fabric we will add an additional 50cm to your continuous length.
Returns & Cancellations
If you need to amend or cancel your order you may do so up to 48 hours after you have placed your order by calling or emailing us.
All items purchased via distance selling with the exception of cut to order fabric, may be cancelled or returned at any time up to seven days from the day after receipt by informing us within that period that you wish to do so.
If after cancellation the goods purchased via distance selling have been delivered, they must be kept in good condition for collection by our nominated carrier. A collection charge not less than the original delivery charge will apply. We reserve the right to apply a charge for any damage to goods awaiting return while in your possession. We cannot accept returns of cut to order fabric and strongly recommend you purchase sample swatches before ordering a length of fabric.
Fabric sample swatches cannot be returned.
Every effort is made to ensure the product pictures on our website accurately reflect the colours, style and condition of each product.
Our unique antiques have been refurbished and hand finished to a very high standard but will retain some knocks and blemishes which add character to these items. Each item description includes an accurate assessment of the item condition and any flaws or defects are highlighted.
All measurements (with the exception of cut to order fabric) are approximate and a variance of +/- 2cm should be allowed for each measurement.
All fabrics are cut to order in a continuous length and will be at least 20mm longer than the stated length.
All items for sale are intended for domestic use only. If products are intended for non-domestic use, it is your responsibility to check your requirements with your relevant local authority.
We reserve the right to alter the prices advertised on our website at any time.
Prices exclude delivery charges which vary depending on product type and delivery location. Delivery prices are calculated automatically from the postcode entered at the checkout. A postcode zone map and current furniture delivery prices can be found HERE.
All orders placed through our website will be subject to these terms and conditions of sale and by placing an order you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions.
The laws of England govern these conditions and all disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
We have to process, store and forward your data to third parties who are directly involved with your order eg. carriers. By placing an order with us you agree to your data being processed by us, our agents and partners.
We will not pass your details to third parties for the purpose of marketing or distributing sales or promotional materials.
We do not process your credit/debit card payments nor do we have access to your credit or debit card details. We only use an accredited payment process provider such as Paypal.
