The glass and bottle holders are original and have been polished up. The fresh cream paint is matt and wipeable and the cutlery drawer has been completely cleaned and all the old baize removed.
It is in beautiful condition and has not suffered from any woodworm. The pretty carved floral details, scrolled wooden handles and unusual feet all add to its unique appeal. This is a one of a kind piece of furniture wonderfully crafted from solid oak. I think it has the glamour of 1930s Hollywood and would make a striking addition to an opulent dining room.
